  • Founder & President

    Carolina is a visionary community builder and the driving force behind Because Mom Collective. What started as her simple desire to create a space where women could form meaningful friendships has grown into a vibrant, multifaceted network of support, connection, and empowerment.

    As the founder and president of Because Mom Collective, as well as the founder and CEO of Because Mom Marketing and Because Mom Networking, Carolina has dedicated her life to uplifting women in every stage of life—from motherhood to entrepreneurship. Her work is rooted in compassion, inclusion, and the belief that every woman deserves to feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

    Under her leadership, Because Mom has become more than just a community—it’s a movement. Through its nonprofit arm, the organization provides essential groceries, baby items, feminine hygiene products, and vital resources to families in need, helping women and their families navigate challenging times with dignity and hope.

    Carolina’s passion lies in building spaces where women can embrace their full identities, form authentic relationships, and feel empowered to thrive—because when women support each other, incredible things happen.

    Noelle is an Associate Broker and Team Lead for the AtHome Team at Engel & Volkers Atlanta. In addition to having a strong non-profit background, she has successfully served both buyers and sellers in the north Georgia areas for more than 25 years.

    A Certified Financial Educator® with over 20 years of experience, Mernie Mendoza is dedicated to helping people gain financial confidence and freedom. Inspired by a legacy of strong, resilient women, she’s passionate about empowering other women to understand their finances and take control of their financial futures.

    My name is Paige, and I am the Secretary of Because Mom Collective - I am a local mental health therapist specializing in working with women, and am an active mom to three boys (and one sweet fur-baby named Decker). I enjoy reading, building community with local women, and exploring cozy brunch/coffee shops!

    Deb Carmody is a proud mother of two boys (ages 23 and 16) and a seasoned financial and operations leader with a heart for service. As the founder of DDSL Enterprises, she helps small businesses streamline their back office operations so they can focus on growth. Deb brings that same passion for support and structure to her volunteer work, currently serving on the Because Mom Collective board and her local HOA board. Whether in business or community, Deb is driven by a deep commitment to helping others succeed.

    Fabiola Mui is a local realtor with Keller Williams who blends heart, data, and a thoughtful, process-driven approach to guide individuals and families through every step of their home journey. She’s deeply committed to connection, passionate about supporting women, and loves giving back through local non-profit work in the community she calls home.
